A reputable hospital in Ras Al Khaimah is looking for a dedicated Pediatrician to join their growing team. You will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.Role DescriptionThe Pediatrician will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, from routine check-ups and preventive care to diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. The role requires strong clinical judgment, a compassionate approach to working with young patients and their families, and close coordination with other hospital departments.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct outpatient consultations for infants, children, and adolescents, addressing a wide range of medical concernsPerform routine health assessments, growth and developmental monitoring, and immunizations according to national schedulesDiagnose and manage acute illnesses (e.g., infections, respiratory conditions, gastrointestinal issues) and chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, allergies, developmental disorders)Provide emergency care and stabilization for pediatric patients as needed, including in the ER or NICU/PICU settings where applicableCounsel parents/guardians on nutrition, growth milestones, vaccination schedules, and general child health and safetyOrder and interpret diagnostic tests (lab work, imaging) relevant to pediatric careCoordinate with pediatric subspecialists (e.g., pediatric cardiology, neurology, endocrinology) for complex casesMaintain accurate, timely patient documentation and medical records in line with hospital and regulatory standardsParticipate in on-call rotations, neonatal care coverage (if applicable), and departmental meetingsEngage in continuous professional development and stay current with pediatric clinical guidelinesSupport hospital initiatives related to child health education and preventive care programsRequirements:MD/MBBS with specialization in PediatricsValid DOH/DHA/MOH license or eligibilityMinimum 3+ years of clinical experienceCompassionate, patient-focused approach📩 Interested candidates, please send your CV to [info@brands-spotlight.com].
