Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions, promoting healthy growth and development, educating patients and families, coordinating care, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered medical services in compliance with applicable regulations and standards of care.Essential Duties(Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following):Patient CareConduct comprehensive well-child examinations and annual physicals.Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric illnesses and injuries.Assess growth, development, behavioral health, and developmental milestones.Administer and monitor immunizations according to current guidelines.Prescribe medications and treatment plans consistent with evidence-based practices.Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results.Provide anticipatory guidance and health education to patients and families.Preventive CarePromote health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.Monitor developmental, behavioral, and social-emotional health.Screen for childhood and adolescent health risks.Provide nutritional, safety, and wellness counseling.Clinical DocumentationDocument patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).Maintain compliant medical records.Complete referrals, authorizations, and required medical forms.Care CoordinationCollaborate with specialists, hospitals, schools, therapists, and community resources.Facilitate continuity of care and follow-up treatment.Participate in care management initiatives when appropriate.Quality and ComplianceFollow established clinical protocols and practice standards.Participate in quality improvement activities.Maintain compliance with infection control, HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.Support patient safety initiatives and risk management programs.Team CollaborationCollaborate with Medical Assistants, Nurses, Advanced Practice Providers, and support staff.Serve as a clinical resource for staff members.Participate in provider meetings and interdisciplinary care discussions.Licenses and Certifications:RequiredActive California Physician and Surgeon License.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.Current DEA Registration.Current BLS Certification.Current PALS Certification (or obtained within employer-established timeframe).Experience:RequiredCompletion of pediatric residency training.Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).PreferredTwo (2) years or more of outpatient pediatric practice experience.Experience working in community health centers, multispecialty practices, or integrated healthcare settings.Bilingual in Punjabi or Spanish based on patient population.Pay range and compensation package$264,160 - $349,440 based on experienceEqual Opportunity StatementPeach Tree Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer.
