Job Title: People & Culture Welfare OfficerDepartmentPeople & Culture (Human Resources)Job SummaryThe People & Culture Welfare Officer is responsible for enhancing the overall employee experience by planning and coordinating welfare initiatives, engagement activities, accommodation programs, and employee well-being projects. The role also supports internal communications, employee surveys, event coordination, and reporting to promote a positive and engaging workplace culture.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Welfare & EngagementPlan, organize, and coordinate employee engagement and welfare activities.Support the implementation of employee well-being programs and initiatives.Coordinate employee events, celebrations, recognition programs, and community activities.Promote employee participation in People & Culture initiatives.Accommodation & WelfareConduct employee accommodation inspections and satisfaction surveys.Monitor employee welfare concerns and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions.Work closely with departments to improve accommodation and welfare standards.Internal CommunicationDesign posters, announcements, newsletters, and promotional materials using Canva.Prepare employee communications for company events, campaigns, and awareness programs.Ensure communication materials follow company branding guidelines.Administration & ReportingMaintain employee welfare records and documentation.Prepare reports, trackers, and dashboards using Microsoft Excel.Analyze survey results and prepare summaries with recommendations for management.Event CoordinationCoordinate logistics for employee engagement activities and welfare events.Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure successful event execution.Assist in organizing health campaigns, sports events, social activities, and recognition programs (Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activities).Employee SupportRespond to employee welfare inquiries professionally and confidentially.Assist employees with welfare-related concerns and provide guidance where appropriate.Promote positive employee experience throughout the organization.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.Previous experience in Human Resources, Employee Welfare, Employee Engagement, or Hospitality is preferred.Skills & CompetenciesProficient in Microsoft Excel (data management, reports, charts, formulas, and trackers).Proficient in Canva for creating professional communication materials and event collateral.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.Preferred ExperienceExperience coordinating employee engagement activities or welfare programs.Experience creating surveys and analyzing employee feedback.Experience in preparing presentations and management reports.Experience working in the hospitality industry is an advantage.Familiarity with HR systems and employee communication platforms is preferred.
