Power Train has trained hundreds of professional athletes and has been highlighted by national and international media outlets.Role Description The Performance Director is a full-time, on-site role. This role oversees daily performance training operations, ensuring programs are delivered safely, effectively, and consistently across athletes and small group fitness participants. The Performance Director will lead and mentor performance coaches, manage scheduling, and coordinate facility resources to meet client demand. Responsibilities include monitoring program effectiveness, analyzing performance outcomes, and implementing improvements aligned with organizational objectives. The role also involves collaborating with leadership on strategic initiatives, managing budgets related to training services, and supporting marketing or community outreach efforts to drive member engagement and retention.QualificationsStrong analytical skills to assess athlete progress, program effectiveness, and operational performance.Experience with budgeting and financial oversight for training programs, staffing, and facility resources.Demonstrated performance management skills, including coaching, feedback, and team development.Strategic planning capabilities to design long-term performance initiatives and growth plans for the center.Project management skills to lead program launches, special events, and process improvement initiatives.Background in sports performance, strength and conditioning, or fitness management (certifications such as CSCS, NASM, or equivalent preferred).Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and motivate staff and athletes.Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.To apply please email career materials to Carl Putman at carlputman@powertrainsi.com
