The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in performance strategy, testing tools, and system optimization in complex environments.🛠️ Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance Strategy & ArchitectureDesign and execute comprehensive performance and non-functional testing strategies for complex systemsConduct architecture reviews and define realistic workload modelsValidate system scalability, resilience, and operability across enterprise platformsPerformance TestingDevelop and execute performance tests using tools such as LoadRunner, GatlingPerform client-side performance analysis using Sitespeed.io, WebPageTestEnsure end-to-end system performance across diverse environmentsProfiling & OptimizationPerform root cause analysis and debugging using tools like YourKit, JProfilerIdentify bottlenecks and tune applications for improved efficiency and scalabilityAnalyze platform, infrastructure, and configuration constraintsInfrastructure & CloudWork across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments (AWS preferred)Troubleshoot performance issues in Linux/Unix and Windows systemsUnderstand the impact of compute, storage, virtualization, containers, and orchestrationMonitoring & ObservabilityImplement and utilize APM, logging, tracing, and OpenTelemetry toolsMonitor performance, availability, and reliability across system layersDatabase PerformanceDiagnose and resolve performance issues in SQL and NoSQL databasesEvaluate downstream system impacts and optimize queries and database configurationsDevOps & CI/CDIntegrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelinesAlign testing frameworks with DevOps/DevSecOps practices and IaC modelsChaos EngineeringDesign and execute controlled failure experiments to test system resilienceExperience with tools like Gremlin or Harness Chaos is a plus✅ Required Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in Performance Engineering and Non-Functional TestingHands-on expertise with LoadRunner, Gatling, and performance analysis toolsKnowledge of AWS cloud environments and distributed systemsExperience with APM & observability toolsSolid understanding of database performance tuning (SQL & NoSQL)Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automation frameworksExposure to Chaos Engineering principles is preferred
