Performance Engineer

A large owner of Communal Energy & Heat Network assets is currently looking for a Performance Engineer to optimise their assets. The role will focus on optimisation, technical assurance & compliance. It is essential that the role holder has strong mechanical technical experience with heat assets. The role has heightened significance due to the regulatory compliance being introduced to the Heat Networks sector.ResponsibilitiesPerformance Verification – conduct assurance auditsLead audits for Ofgem complianceIdentify compliance & performance gapsAnalyse network performance, provide guidance to engineering, operations, and senior managementContinuous improvement – develop frameworks for performance testingSkills & Experience Strong mechanical experience with heat assetsRelevant experience with asset optimisation and technical assuranceExperience of carrying out audits on heat assetsAbility to analyse technical data and produce compliance reportsAbility to influence engineering & operationsExperience in heat or regulated utilities
