We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Performance Engineer specializing in EuroNCAP to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and achieving vehicle performance targets, conducting technical benchmarks, and ensuring the integration and optimization of performance plans. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Main Tasks:Safety Performance Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses of vehicle safety performance in accordance with Euro NCAP standards. Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance safety features.Testing and Validation: Develop and implement testing protocols to evaluate vehicle safety. Conduct crash tests, simulations, and other assessments to ensure compliance with Euro NCAP requirements.Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data from safety tests and simulations. Use this data to drive decision-making and track progress towards safety goals.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all safety features and performance metrics comply with Euro NCAP standards and other relevant regulations. Stay updated on changes to safety standards and regulations.Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to integrate safety features into vehicle designs. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure that safety considerations are incorporated at every stage of development.Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation on safety performance analyses, testing protocols, and compliance efforts. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.Continuous Improvement: Lead and support initiatives aimed at continuously improving vehicle safety. This includes researching new safety technologies, staying informed about industry trends, and implementing best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.Proven work experience as a Performance Engineer or similar role, with a focus on automotive active safety engineering, or a related field. 5 years of experience minimumStrong understanding of EuroNCAP protocols and testing methodologies.Familiarity with vehicle safety standards and regulations.Ability to analyze and interpret test data.Strong problem-solving skills.Proficiency in safety performance analysis tools, crash simulation software, and testing equipment. Familiarity with Euro NCAP standards and testing protocols.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Salary RangeContratto Collettivo Specifico di Lavoro per Iveco Group1° Gruppo ProfessionaleSalary Range: 49.000-55.000€
