Define test objectives, instrumentation requirements, and analyze data to validate performance and diagnose operability issues.System Optimization: Support operability and transient analysis to optimize performance across the engine lifecycle.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in design reviews and coordinate directly with controls, mechanical, aero, and materials engineering teams.Documentation & Communication: Synthesize complex data to document technical results and provide clear updates to all organizational levels and external customers.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).Experience: 5+ years of direct experience in gas turbine performance analysis, aerodynamics design, or a related discipline.Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship strictly required due to defense and aerospace compliance framework constraints.Modeling & Tooling: Familiarity with NPSS or similar thermodynamic modeling tools, engine scaling laws, and Microsoft Office suite.Engine Knowledge: Deep understanding of component sizing criteria for major engine modules (inlet to exhaust), cooled turbines, cooling flow demand considerations, and their impacts on performance.Soft Skills: Proven self-starter capable of multi-tasking without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills (A Plus!)Awareness of combustion emissions drivers.Familiarity with compressible flow, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, and related tools.Fundamental understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).👉 CLICK HERE TO APPLY DIRECTLY ON OUR CAREERS PAGE: WWW.PSNET.COM/CAREERS
