Performance Marketing Executive
GMG · Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Tailor my CV for this job — freeThe Performance Marketing Executive builds and then runs paid digital acquisition for GMG Home across Meta, Google Ads and Amazon Ads, covering Suncoast, Modora and EBN.Paid media is being brought in-house. The division's ad accounts, business portfolios and tracking are newly established, so the first phase of this role is to build them into a working, measurable operation rather than to optimize an existing one. Once that foundation is in place, the role plans, creates, analyses and optimises campaigns end to end, converting commercial objectives into measurable results while bringing creative thinking to campaign concepts, messaging and formats. Operating across retail, e-commerce, B2B and education audiences, the Specialist is the division's in-house expert on paid media performance, tracking and budget efficiency, and holds administrative custody of the division's advertising accounts.ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities● Delivery of the agreed blended ROAS, CPA and cost-per-lead targets by brand and platform. Targets are set with the Marketing Manager on appointment and baselined at 90 days, once tracking reconciles to actual sales.● Efficient deployment of the division's digital media budget, with pacing and reallocation across platforms and brands.● Integrity of tracking and measurement across all paid channels, including the conversion data the division reports on.● Administrative custody and access control of every advertising account, business portfolio, pixel, catalogue and data source used by the division.● Timely, insight-led reporting that informs marketing and commercial decisions.● A continuous testing program that improves creative, audience and bidding performance quarter on quarter.Responsibilities — first 90 days (foundation)● Establish campaign and account structure across Meta, Google Ads and Amazon Ads for each brand.● Implement and verify end-to-end tracking: Meta Pixel and Conversions API with deduplication, GA4, Google Tag Manager, a documented UTM convention, and Amazon attribution. Budget does not scale until reported conversions reconcile to actual sales.● Complete consolidation of advertising assets into the division's business portfolios — pages, Instagram accounts, pixels, catalogues and product feeds — with legacy and third-party access removed.● Build and validate the product feed for Shopping and catalogue advertising.● Agree baseline targets, a reporting format and a reporting cadence with the Marketing Manager.Responsibilities — ongoing● Plan and build full-funnel paid campaigns (awareness, consideration, conversion, retention) across Meta, Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube) and Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP where applicable).● Develop campaign concepts, ad copy and briefs for static, carousel and video formats, aligned to each brand's tone of voice and to the UAE retail calendar — Ramadan and Eid, DSF, DSS, White Friday, back-to-school and the EBN admissions cycle.● Define audience strategies: prospecting, retargeting, lookalike, first-party and CRM-based segments.● Monitor daily performance against KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, ACoS/TACoS, lead quality) and take corrective action.● Manage budget pacing and reallocation across platforms, brands and campaigns, within an agreed reallocation limit. Anything above that limit is approved by the Marketing Manager.● Produce weekly and monthly performance reports with clear insights and recommendations, reconciled to sales data rather than to platform-reported figures alone.● Work with the content and design team to produce high-performing creative and landing pages.● Coordinate with the e-commerce, B2B and retail teams to align campaigns with stock availability, pricing, promotions and lead-handling processes.● Support the Amazon marketplace strategy. This role owns Amazon advertising planning and campaign execution. The vendor relationship, brand launch sequencing and commercial terms sit with the B2B and Amazon partnership lead; listing content, ASIN setup, Brand Store and A+ content sit with e-commerce. Where those boundaries meet, the Marketing Manager arbitrates.Education● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, Economics or a related field (required).● Postgraduate qualification or diploma in Digital Marketing or Data Analytics (preferred).Experience● 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience managing paid digital campaigns, with direct ownership of the media budget rather than executing someone else's plan.● Demonstrable experience building or restructuring ad accounts, tracking and feeds from a low base — not solely optimizing an established setup.● Proven across Meta and Google Ads. Amazon Ads experience strongly preferred.● Experience in retail, e-commerce, furniture, home and lifestyle, or education sectors is an advantage.● UAE or GCC market experience is required: the role must already understand the local retail calendar and audience behavior.● Candidates present one worked example at interview — an account taken from a defined starting point to a measured result, with the numbers.
