Performance Test, Senior Engineer

Adree is seeking a Performance Test, Senior Engineer to design, execute, and own end-to-end non-functional testing strategies across our enterprise applications. In this role, you will evaluate system scalability, reliability, responsiveness, and resource utilization under peak load conditions. Working closely with Software Architects, DevOps, and Product teams, you will identify performance bottlenecks, establish performance benchmarks, and integrate automated performance scripts into our continuous delivery pipelines.Key Responsibilities:Performance Test Engineering & ExecutionStrategy & Planning: Define performance test strategies, workloads, and volume models based on production traffic patterns, SLAs, and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs)Scripting & Test Execution: Design, build, and maintain enterprise load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability test scripts using JMeter, k6, Gatling, or LoadRunnerEnvironment & Data Management: Prepare performance test environments and generate realistic, representative synthetic test data sets at scalePipeline Integration: Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) to enable automated performance regression testingBottleneck Analysis & OptimizationMonitoring & Profiling: Monitor server-side and client-side metrics (CPU, Memory, Heap, Disk I/O, Network, Response Times) using APM tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamicsRoot-Cause Analysis: Partner with developers and database administrators to identify and diagnose bottlenecks, including memory leaks, slow database queries, thread deadlocks, and connection pool exhaustionReporting & Benchmarking: Present actionable performance insights, benchmark trends, and optimization recommendations to technical leads and executive stakeholdersRequirementsExperience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in performance testing, engineering, or non-functional QA rolesTesting Tooling: Advanced proficiency with performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, k6, Gatling, or Micro Focus LoadRunner/NeoloadProtocol Knowledge: Deep experience testing HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and gRPC servicesMonitoring & APM: Hands-on experience with APM and profiling tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus/Grafana, JProfiler, or visual JVM tools)Database & Query Profiling: Ability to analyze database performance, inspect slow queries, and monitor connections across SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databasesScripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, or Scala) to write modular, complex test scriptsJob Location: Client Site
