Performance Testing Engineer — TimeStar Networks (UAE)

Role OverviewTimeStar Networks is seeking a Performance Testing Engineer to validate, monitor, and optimize enterprise network performance across wired, wireless, and IPTV environments. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Keysight testing tools, throughput benchmarking, latency/jitter analysis, and real‑time monitoring platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct end‑to‑end network performance testing using Keysight and similar enterprise‑grade tools.Measure and analyze throughput, latency, jitter, packet loss, and QoS behavior.Perform wireless performance validation including roaming, coverage, and interference testing.Benchmark IPTV multicast stability, IGMP behavior, and channel switching performance.Generate detailed performance reports, dashboards, and consultant‑ready documentation.Collaborate with network engineers to optimize configurations and resolve bottlenecks.Monitor network health using real‑time visibility platforms and analytics tools.Validate SLAs and ensure compliance with project and consultant requirements.Required Skills & ExperienceHands‑on experience with Keysight IxChariot / Hawkeye / similar tools.Strong understanding of TCP/UDP, QoS, VLANs, routing, and switching.Experience with multicast, IGMP snooping, IPTV delivery, and channel stability testing.Familiarity with CloudIQ, Extreme Platform One, or similar monitoring systems.Ability to interpret performance metrics and convert them into actionable insights.Strong documentation skills for consultant approvals and project submissions.Excellent troubleshooting skills for wired, wireless, and IPTV environments.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or related field.Certifications in networking (CCNA, CCNP, Extreme Networks, etc.).Experience in UAE enterprise environments is a plus.Why Join TimeStar Networks?Work with cutting‑edge performance testing and monitoring technologies.Be part of a team delivering secure, reliable, consultant‑approved network solutions across the UAE.Opportunity to grow in advanced NAC, IPTV multicast, and enterprise network engineering.How to ApplySend your CV to info@timestarme.com or message us directly on LinkedIn.
