Headquartered in Dubai, Oudh Al Anfar positions itself as a global ambassador of timeless Arabic perfumery.Role Description The Perfumer will be responsible for creating, developing, and refining fragrances that align with Oudh Al Anfar’s brand standards and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include researching raw materials, composing and modifying fragrance formulas, evaluating scent profiles, and collaborating with the R&D and production teams to ensure stability, quality, and consistency. The role involves working closely with sales and private-label clients to interpret briefs, present fragrance concepts, and support product launches. The Perfumer will also participate in sensory evaluations, quality checks, and market trend analysis to keep the portfolio innovative and competitive. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.Qualifications Strong customer service orientation to understand client needs and provide professional fragrance guidance.Proficiency in quality control practices, including olfactory evaluation, stability testing, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.Experience in research and development (R&D) related to fragrance formulation, raw material innovation, and market trend analysis.Sales awareness and commercial mindset to support product positioning, presentations, and private-label collaborations.Understanding of personal care and cosmetic applications, including how fragrances perform in different product formats.Formal training or certification in perfumery, chemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field is highly preferred.Strong sensory acuity with a well-developed olfactory palette and the ability to describe and classify scents accurately.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, collaborate in a multicultural environment, and manage multiple projects to deadlines.Familiarity with IFRA guidelines and relevant regional and international fragrance regulations is an advantage.Previous experience in a perfume house, fragrance manufacturer, or related industry is beneficial.
