Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (Direct Hire)Schedule:Shift: Evenings (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM)Workdays: Monday–Friday, alternating weekends and holidaysGuaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours/weekPay Rate:$41.74–$52.04 per hourJob SummaryThe Radiologic Technologist performs routine and special diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of the Radiology Administrator. The role includes preparing and positioning patients, producing high-quality diagnostic images, assisting radiologists during procedures, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring radiation safety and quality assurance.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and special diagnostic X-ray procedures.Prepare and correctly position patients for imaging exams.Produce high-quality diagnostic images and verify image quality.Assist radiologists during procedures as needed.Follow radiation safety standards to minimize patient and staff exposure.Perform equipment quality assurance and report equipment issues.Process digital images and prepare CDs when required.Document patient information using Meditech, RIS, and PACS.Communicate urgent findings ("wet reads") to physicians when appropriate.Provide clinical instruction to radiography students.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Participate in on-call, overtime, holiday, and emergency coverage as needed.QualificationsHigh School Diploma (Required)Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (Required)Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environmentStrong attention to detail and patient care skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesRequired CertificationsARRT (RT)(R) – American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsBLS (AHA) – Within 90 days of hireNew York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License (or Limited Permit upon hire)DOH IV Certification – Within 180 days of hireImage Gently & Image Wisely Radiation Safety Pledge – Within 180 days of hireEmployment TypeDirect HireFull-Time37.5 hours per weekEvening Shift (4 PM–12 AM)Thanks & RegardsRadha (646) 927-1087radha.k@pride-health.com
