This long history and regional presence provide team members with exposure to complex projects and diverse industrial environments.Role Description The Permit Coordinator and DCC Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates. This position is responsible for coordinating work permits for construction and industrial activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and local regulatory requirements. The role includes reviewing documentation, verifying permit applications, tracking permit status, and liaising with project managers, site supervisors, and client representatives. As DCC Officer, the individual manages document control processes, including receiving, registering, distributing, and archiving project documents, drawings, and correspondence in accordance with company and client procedures. Daily tasks also involve maintaining accurate records, updating document control systems, supporting audits, and providing timely reports to project leadership to ensure smooth and compliant project execution.QualificationsExperience in permit coordination for construction or industrial projects, including understanding of safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and permit workflows.Document control skills, such as managing document registers, version control, filing systems, and electronic document management tools.Strong organizational and administrative abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling project documentation and records.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project teams, site personnel, and external stakeholders.Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., MS Office suite) and familiarity with document control or project management systems.Relevant experience in industrial, petrochemical, or EPC environments is highly advantageous.Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, administration, or a related field preferred.Ability to work on-site in the UAE, adapt to changing project priorities, and uphold company safety and quality standards.
