Permit CoordinatorWe are seeking an experienced Permit Coordinator to support the successful execution of major Oil & Gas EPC projects in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all permitting activities, including Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, authority permits, and client approvals, ensuring full compliance with project requirements, HSE standards, and UAE regulatory requirements.This role serves as the key liaison between project teams, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate timely permit approvals and uninterrupted project execution.YOUR ROLEAs Permit Coordinator, you will be responsible in the performance of the following but not limited to duties and responsibilities;Permit-to-Work (PTW) ManagementCoordinate the preparation, submission, approval, tracking, and closure of all PTWs.Manage permits for high-risk activities including: Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, Excavation, Lifting Operations, Electrical WorksVerify compliance with all safety and procedural requirements prior to permit issuance.Coordinate closely with Construction, Engineering, Operations, and HSE teams to ensure permit accuracy and execution.Authority & Client Permit CoordinationProcess and manage permits required by local authorities and regulatory bodies.Coordinate approvals for: Municipality permits, Road and traffic diversion permits, Utility connection and disconnection permits, Equipment mobilization and transportation clearancesLiaise with client representatives and ensure adherence to project-specific permit procedures and requirements.Documentation & Record ManagementMaintain comprehensive records of all permits, approvals, risk assessments, and method statements.Manage permit registers and master trackers.Monitor permit validity, renewals, and expiry dates.Generate daily, weekly, and monthly permit status reports.Stakeholder CoordinationServe as the focal point for all permit-related communications.Coordinate with: Construction Teams, HSE Departments, Logistics Teams, Consultants, Clients, Government Authorities, SubcontractorsParticipate in daily planning and coordination meetings to identify upcoming permit requirements.Compliance & Audit SupportEnsure all permit activities comply with: UAE regulations, Client HSE procedures, Project requirements, International safety standardsSupport internal and external audits related to permit compliance and documentation.Emergency & Issue ResolutionEscalate permit-related delays, conflicts, or non-compliance issues.Assist with emergency permits, permit revalidation, and critical project requirements.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORExperienceMinimum 4-6 years of experience within Oil & Gas, Construction, or EPC projects.At least 3 years of experience in permit coordination, PTW administration, or site coordination roles.Strong working knowledge of Permit-to-Work systems.Experience working on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or Oil & Gas EPC projects is highly desirable.Education and CertificationsDiploma or Bachelor's DegreeEquivalent technical qualifications in construction or HSE disciplines may also be considered.Preferred candidates will possess one or more of the following: NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, HSE CertificationsSkills and CompetenciesStrong understanding of PTW systems and HSE procedures.Knowledge of UAE permitting regulations and authority requirements.Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and permit tracking systems.WHAT WE OFFER The chance to contribute to some of UAE’s Oil and Gas EPC Mega projects.A collaborative, supportive environment that values innovation and excellence.Opportunities for professional growth and career progression.Competitive salary and benefits package.Ready to be part of our team?If you’re inspired by what you’ve read and believe you’re the right fit, we’d love to hear from you.Join us and play a pivotal role in shaping a high-performing team that drives our success.Apply today and be part of something excellent!
