Learn more at www.dar.com.Job PurposeProvide high-level executive, administrative and organisational support to the Managing Director, ensuring their time, meetings, correspondence and key commitments are effectively managed. The role acts as a trusted point of coordination for the MD, handles confidential and commercially sensitive information, and provides occasional support to HR and Legal as well as temporary cover for the Travel Manager during periods of absence.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role encompasses, but is not restricted to, the following responsibilities:Provide comprehensive PA support to the Managing Director, proactively anticipating requirements and managing competing priorities.Manage the MD’s complex and changing diary, coordinate internal and external meetings, and ensure the MD is fully briefed and prepared for key commitments.Manage the MD’s inbox and correspondence, prioritising communications and drafting or responding where appropriate.Prepare meeting agendas, papers, presentations and briefing materials; take accurate notes and follow up agreed actions and deadlines.Coordinate business travel for the MD, including flights, accommodation, transfers and detailed itineraries, resolving changes or urgent issues promptly.Provide temporary cover for the Travel Manager during planned or unplanned absence, coordinating travel requests to maintain continuity of business travel arrangements.Manage expenses, filing, document management and other relevant administrative processes, and organise events, conferences, client meetings and occasional corporate hospitality.Support the MD and senior leadership team with ad hoc projects, research, business initiatives, follow-ups and key deliverables.Act as a key point of contact between the MD and internal and external stakeholders, building strong professional relationships and handling sensitive information with absolute discretion.Provide occasional administrative and coordination support to the HR and Legal teams during busy periods or when additional resource is required.Values Alignment Demonstrates proactive support, sound judgement, discretion and accountability; works independently while collaborating effectively across teams; communicates professionally with stakeholders at all levels; and maintains a consistently high standard of organisation, accuracy, confidentiality and service.Qualifications (Minimum education, certifications, experience)Previous experience in a PA or senior administrative support role is HIGHLY desirable; candidates with lower years of experience may be considered where they demonstrate strong potential, the right attitude and a genuine ambition to build a long-term PA career.Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, sound judgement and confidence dealing with senior stakeholders.High levels of discretion and confidentiality, particularly when handling HR, Legal and commercially sensitive matters.Proactive, solutions-focused and able to work independently, take ownership of tasks and anticipate the needs of the Managing Director.Strong Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with flexibility to respond to changing priorities and occasional requirements to work outside normal working hours.Why Join Us
