This position focuses on serving customers at the financial center, providing guidance on personal banking products and services, and supporting customers with everyday transactions. Responsibilities include assisting with deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, opening new accounts, and helping customers understand financial solutions that meet their needs. The role also involves proactively engaging customers, resolving inquiries or issues, and referring customers to appropriate specialists when more complex financial needs arise. The Personal Banker Associate I is expected to follow bank policies, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a positive, inclusive customer experience.Qualifications Demonstrated skills in personal banking and a strong understanding of consumer financial products and services.Experience handling deposits, withdrawals, and other routine banking transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to open new accounts, explain account features, and guide customers through required documentation and processes.Foundational knowledge of finance, including basic lending and savings concepts, to support customer conversations.Strong customer service skills, including active listening, problem solving, and clear, professional communication.High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.Comfort working in a fast-paced branch environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and leaders.Proficiency with basic computer applications and the ability to learn banking systems and tools quickly.Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory and bank policies.
