The Personal Banker builds relationships with clients, provides guidance on banking products and services, and supports clients in achieving their financial goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with deposits and withdrawals, opening new accounts, explaining product features and fees, and recommending appropriate financial solutions. The role also involves resolving customer inquiries, handling transactions accurately, promoting digital banking tools, and referring clients to specialists for complex financial needs. Personal Bankers are expected to follow regulatory and compliance requirements, maintain high service standards, and contribute to branch sales and performance goals.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Personal Banking and Opening New Accounts to effectively support clients’ everyday banking needs and account setup.Candidates should possess skills in Deposits and basic Finance to accurately process transactions and provide sound financial product recommendations.Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build relationships, handle inquiries, and deliver a positive client experience.Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with attention to detail and accuracy.Comfort with technology, including banking software, CRM tools, and digital banking platforms.Previous experience in retail banking, financial services, or a related customer-facing role is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in finance, business, or a related field is beneficial.Ability to work on-site, adhere to compliance and security standards, and collaborate effectively with branch team members.
