This role includes opening new accounts, processing deposits and other basic transactions, and recommending appropriate banking products and services based on customer needs. The Personal Banker I will build and maintain relationships with customers, respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and proactively identify opportunities to deepen engagement through cross-selling. Daily activities also involve adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with branch team members to meet performance and service goals. The role requires a strong focus on customer experience, financial accuracy, and support of branch sales and service initiatives.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in personal banking and opening new accounts to support customers with everyday financial needs.Candidates should possess skills related to managing deposits and basic finance concepts to ensure accurate and compliant transactions.Candidates should possess strong customer service skills to deliver positive, solution-focused interactions and build long-term relationships.Additional beneficial qualifications include prior retail banking or financial services experience, proficiency with banking systems and basic computer applications, and strong problem-solving abilities.High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.Demonstrated communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a branch team environment.
