This role focuses on building relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions. Daily responsibilities include assisting customers with deposits and withdrawals, opening new accounts, and explaining banking products and services in a clear, helpful manner. The Personal Banker supports customers in meeting their short- and long-term financial goals, identifies opportunities to cross-sell appropriate products, and ensures all transactions comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements. This role also involves resolving customer inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with branch team members to deliver a high-quality banking experience.Qualifications Experience in personal banking and a strong understanding of retail banking products and services.Skills in handling deposits, withdrawals, and everyday banking transactions accurately and efficiently.Ability to open new accounts, explain product features, and guide customers through account setup and maintenance.Foundational knowledge of finance and financial concepts to support customers in achieving their goals.Demonstrated customer service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and professional communication.High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.Comfort with technology and banking systems, including point-of-sale terminals and customer relationship tools.Ability to work on-site, collaborate with branch team members, and adhere to compliance and security standards.Prior experience in banking, financial services, or sales is preferred not required.
