This position is responsible for answering incoming calls and inquiries from potential clients, gathering essential information about incidents, and accurately documenting facts in the firm’s intake systems. The specialist will conduct initial screenings to assess case viability, explain the firm’s services and processes, and schedule consultations or follow-up contacts as needed. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining organized intake records, coordinating with attorneys and legal staff on new matters, and providing responsive, empathetic support to individuals who have experienced injuries. The role also involves verifying basic insurance and contact information, following established intake procedures, and contributing to a smooth transition from initial inquiry to active representation.QualificationsStrong Communication and Interpersonal Skills, including the ability to speak clearly, listen actively, and show empathy to injured clients and their families.Experience with Client Intake and Customer Service, including handling high call volumes, managing inquiries, and accurately capturing case-related information.Basic understanding of Insurance-related concepts relevant to personal injury matters, or the ability to learn them quickly.Attention to detail and proficiency with computers, phone systems, and case management or CRM software.Ability to work on-site full time in Albuquerque, NM, manage multiple tasks, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in a law firm, medical office, or related professional setting is preferred but not required.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in legal studies, business, or a related field is a plus.
