Members are offered preferred rates, a comprehensive range of products and services, and personalized support that prioritizes long-term relationships.Role Description The Personal Service Representative II is a full-time, on-site position based in Jackson, MS, responsible for delivering high-quality member service in branch and office settings. This role handles daily member interactions, including processing deposits and withdrawals, opening and maintaining accounts, assisting with loan applications, and addressing questions about products, services, and account activity. The Personal Service Representative II identifies member needs, offers appropriate financial solutions, and promotes credit union products such as checking accounts, savings options, loans, and digital services. Additional responsibilities include resolving member concerns, ensuring accurate and compliant transaction processing, maintaining detailed records, and supporting branch operations such as balancing cash drawers and assisting with reporting. The role collaborates with team members to uphold service standards and contribute to a positive, welcoming environment for all members.Qualifications Strong member service and relationship-building skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and a welcoming, professional demeanor.Cash handling and transaction processing proficiency, with attention to detail and accuracy in balancing drawers and maintaining financial records.Knowledge of basic banking or credit union products and services, such as accounts, loans, and electronic banking tools.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain financial solutions clearly and respectfully.Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site branch environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining service quality and compliance with policies.Comfort with computer systems and office technology, including core banking software, digital account tools, and standard office applications.Prior experience in financial services, customer service, or a related field preferred; credit union experience is a plus.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in finance, business, or related areas are beneficial.
