Position: Personality Development FacultyLocation: DY Patil Ambi Campus, Pune & Guru Nanak University, HyderabadEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role Intellipaat School of Technology (IST) is looking for a passionate and dynamic UGC Qualified Lecturer – Personality Development (MA English) to equip engineering students with the communication, interpersonal, and professional skills required to excel in academics, placements, and the corporate world.The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in English communication, personality development, employability skills, and placement readiness, with the ability to engage and transform students from diverse academic and socio-economic backgrounds.Key Responsibilities ● Deliver engaging sessions on Personality Development, Soft Skills, Communication Skills, and Professional Etiquette.● Train engineering students in Spoken English, business communication, presentation skills, public speaking, and interpersonal communication.● Conduct training on interview preparation, HR interviews, Group Discussions (GDs), JAM sessions, mock interviews, and campus placement readiness.● Develop students' confidence, leadership qualities, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.● Design and facilitate interactive learning activities including role-plays, debates, case studies, group exercises, and simulations.● Guide students in professional email writing, resume building, LinkedIn profile development, and workplace communication.● Identify students requiring additional support and conduct focused mentoring sessions to improve confidence and communication.● Assess student progress through presentations, mock interviews, communication assessments, and continuous feedback.● Collaborate with the Training & Placement Cell (TPO), academic departments, and industry partners to align training with current hiring expectations.● Develop structured training content, assessment frameworks, and learning resources for employability enhancement.● Maintain student performance records, attendance, feedback reports, and training outcomes.● Continuously update training methodologies based on industry trends and employer expectations.Desired Candidate Profile Educational Qualification ● MA in English from a recognized university.● UGC NET Qualified or PhD Degree (either of them is necessary )● Additional certifications in Soft Skills, Personality Development, Corporate Training, or Communication Skills will be an added advantage.JOB LOCATION: Pune - DY Patil Ambi CampusExperience ● 2–8 years of teaching or training experience in Personality Development, English Communication, Soft Skills, or Employability Skills.● Experience in engineering colleges, universities, EdTech, or corporate training institutes is preferred.● Experience in placement training and campus recruitment preparation will be highly desirable.Required Skills ● Excellent spoken and written English.● Strong presentation and public speaking skills.● Expertise in personality development, communication skills, and employability training. ● Strong facilitation and classroom management abilities.● Ability to mentor students with varying communication skill levels.● Knowledge of interview techniques, group discussions, workplace etiquette, and professional grooming.● Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and counseling skills.● Ability to create engaging and activity-based learning experiences.● Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and online teaching tools.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)● Improvement in students' communication and confidence levels.● Campus placement interview success rates.● Student participation and engagement in training sessions.● Quality of mock interview and GD outcomes.● Student feedback and satisfaction scores.● Collaboration effectiveness with the Placement Cell and academic departments. ● Timely completion of training modules and assessments.● Contribution to enhancing overall student employability.What We're Looking For ● Passion for mentoring and transforming students.● Student-centric and outcome-driven approach.● High energy, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills.● Ability to inspire confidence among first-generation and Tier-2/Tier-3 engineering students.● Strong commitment to academic excellence and student career success.● Team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute beyond classroom teaching.This role offers an excellent opportunity to shape the professional and personal growth of future engineers while playing a key role in improving student employability and placement outcomes at Intellipaat School of Technology.Interested candidates kindly share their resume to Saharika.vs@intellipaat.com
