The company specialises in global supply chain management for energy and petrochemical products.To support ongoing business expansion, we are seeking an experienced International Petrochemical & Energy Trading Manager to lead the global sourcing and trading of petrochemical and energy products. The current portfolio primarily includes Propane (LPG), Butane, and Methanol, with future expansion into Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Ethanol, basic chemical feedstocks, and other energy-related products.Your new role Develop and manage a global network of suppliers for petrochemical and energy products, including strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, and supplier relationship management.Monitor global market trends, analyse supply and demand dynamics, and evaluate pricing movements to formulate procurement and trading strategies.Draft, review, and negotiate international purchase and sales contracts to ensure compliance and successful transaction execution.Oversee the full trade execution process, coordinating shipping, storage, logistics, inspection, and delivery arrangements.Manage trade settlement processes, including Letters of Credit (L/C), Telegraphic Transfers (T/T), Cash Against Documents (CAD), and related banking, insurance, and trade finance activities.Identify and mitigate commercial, credit, market, and logistics risks, while handling claims and dispute resolution when required.Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers, financial institutions, and business partners globally.Drive new product development and business expansion initiatives to support the company's long-term growth objectives.What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Energy Economics, International Trade, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in international trading of petrochemical and/or energy products.Solid understanding of global energy trading fundamentals, including LPG markets, international supply chains, and pricing mechanisms such as FOB, CFR, and CIF.Familiarity with leading market intelligence and pricing platforms, including Platts and Argus.Strong commercial acumen with proven capabilities in negotiation, business development, market analysis, and risk management.Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, with the ability to independently conduct commercial negotiations and review contracts in English.Willingness to travel internationally as required.What you'll get in return Competitive fixed salary package.Annual discretionary bonus and performance-based incentives.Additional incentive scheme linked to annual trading volume and profitability.Comprehensive medical insurance and employee benefits.What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
