Petroleum Products Activities Licensing SpecialistKey ResponsibilitiesParticipates in managing the activities of reviewing and analyzing licensing and import and export permit applications for all activities related to the trading and disposal of petroleum products. Updates the processes for reviewing and analyzing applications submitted by beneficiaries concerning petroleum products, providing comments, and issuing the necessary licenses, as applicable, and in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations, and requirements. Completes the requirements for approving and issuing the necessary licenses for importing and exporting any materials containing petroleum products, fuel supplies for vessels, and permits for supplying coastal projects with fuel for companies operating in the oil and gas sector. Applies mechanisms for obtaining the licenses necessary to conduct activities and collecting the financial consideration for the licenses as part of their revenues. Prepares tasks for coordinating with the General Department of Accounts Monitoring regarding the collection of the financial consideration for licenses and permits in accordance with the regulations governing such matters. Updates mechanisms for managing license renewal/termination requests and carries out activities to notify licensees of the approaching expiration of their licenses. Updates procedures for managing requests to amend licenses and cooperates with any third party to provide technical input on the requests received. Processes the results of review and analysis activities and provides comments regarding permits and licenses, and takes the appropriate actions concerning their renewal, cancellation, or withdrawal, in accordance with the laws and regulations. Implements activities related to participating in the qualification of companies wishing to engage in the targeted activities under the Petroleum Products Law. Participates in activities for issuing approvals for the use of a licensee’s facilities by another licensee pursuant to an agreement concluded between them on a commercial basis, after it has been reviewed by the relevant technical department within the organization, and provides input and a decision regarding cases of disagreement. Prepares tasks for monitoring the schedule related to the validity and expiration of licenses and ensuring continuous communication with licensees to initiate renewal procedures on an ongoing basis, in coordination with the General Department for Company Monitoring. Complies with the work controls and conduct, cybersecurity policies of the organization, and procedures specific to the organizational unit. Performs any other tasks assigned by direct supervisors.Required ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field.EducationBachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or any field related to the job.
