Its mission is to bridge the gap between academics and practice, preparing the next generation of confident finance professionals.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PGT Accountancy role based at ElevateEducation’s Sikar campus. The role involves planning and delivering engaging accountancy lessons for senior secondary commerce students, aligned with relevant curricula and exam requirements. The PGT Accountancy educator will explain complex accounting concepts with clarity, use real-world examples to support understanding, and conduct regular assessments to track learner progress. Responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, maintaining academic records, supporting exam preparation, and providing constructive feedback. The role also includes collaborating with other faculty members, participating in academic planning, and contributing to a positive, learner-centered classroom environment.Qualifications Strong subject knowledge in Accountancy and Commerce, including financial accounting, company accounts, and core principles taught at the senior secondary level.Experience in classroom teaching or coaching for 11th and 12th Commerce or related competitive and professional exams (e.g., CA Foundation, CMA, CS, ACCA) is highly beneficial.Ability to design lesson plans, explain concepts clearly, use practical examples, and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and feedback.Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment.Comfort with basic digital tools and online teaching platforms, enabling integration of technology into lessons where needed.Relevant academic qualification such as a Master’s degree in Commerce/Accountancy or equivalent; B.Ed or formal teacher training is an advantage.Professional experience in accounting, auditing, or finance practice (e.g., articleship or industry experience) is preferred to support application-based teaching.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, manage classroom responsibilities independently, and maintain high academic and ethical standards.
