Role Description The PGT – English role is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The educator will plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the curriculum for senior-grade students, using varied teaching methodologies to support different learning styles. Daily responsibilities include designing lesson plans, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves fostering strong language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, as well as guiding students in grammar, literature, and composition. The PGT – English will collaborate with colleagues, participate in staff meetings and school events, support extracurricular activities related to English, and contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong English Teaching skills, with experience instructing higher-grade students in language and literature.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain concepts clearly, engage students, and collaborate with parents and colleagues.Candidates should possess Translation and language support skills to help learners understand texts and materials across contexts.Candidates should possess Customer Service and student support skills to address student needs professionally and maintain a respectful classroom atmosphere.Candidates should possess Training skills to design and deliver educational activities, workshops, and remedial sessions for learners.Relevant qualifications such as a Master’s degree in English or a related field, along with B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training, are preferred.Ability to use basic educational technology and digital resources for teaching and assessment will be beneficial.Strong classroom management, planning, and organizational skills, with a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory educational practices.
