The school also prioritizes social responsibility, guiding learners to become sensitive and responsible members of society.Role Description The PGT English Teacher will be responsible for teaching English to senior secondary classes, planning lessons in line with C.B.S.E. curriculum guidelines, and preparing students for board examinations. Daily tasks include designing and delivering engaging classroom sessions, assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The teacher will support students’ language development in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking through a variety of instructional strategies and classroom activities. Additional responsibilities include participating in school events, collaborating with colleagues, communicating with families about student progress, and contributing to co-curricular and enrichment programs. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Sanskar Educational School in Ghaziabad.Qualifications Master’s degree in English or a closely related discipline, along with B.Ed. or equivalent professional teaching qualification.Proven experience teaching English at senior secondary level, preferably in a C.B.S.E.-affiliated school.Strong command of English grammar, literature, and academic writing, with the ability to teach both language and literature components effectively.Skill in creating lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials that support diverse learning styles and academic abilities.Ability to use student-centered teaching methods, including discussions, projects, and experiential activities to promote critical and creative thinking.Competence in classroom management, with a focus on maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, colleagues, and families in a collaborative school culture.Basic familiarity with educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching, assessment, and student engagement.Commitment to continuous professional development, ethical conduct, and fostering values-based, socially responsible behavior among students.
