The PGT Physics faculty member will plan, prepare, and deliver senior secondary Physics lessons aligned with the school curriculum and educational standards. Daily responsibilities include designing lesson plans, conducting interactive classroom sessions, demonstrating experiments in the laboratory, assessing student performance through assignments and tests, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves mentoring students for board examinations and competitive entrance tests, integrating technology into teaching, maintaining accurate academic records, and participating in departmental meetings and school events. The teacher is expected to collaborate with colleagues, engage with parents or guardians when needed, and contribute to the overall academic and value-based development of students.Qualifications Strong subject knowledge in Physics and Physics Education, with the ability to teach senior secondary classes effectively.Understanding of Radiation and Medical Physics concepts, and the capacity to relate them to real-world and interdisciplinary applications.Familiarity with Theoretical Physics principles and problem-solving approaches for advanced school-level topics.Postgraduate degree (Master’s) in Physics or a closely related discipline, along with B.Ed. or equivalent professional teaching qualification.Experience teaching Physics at senior secondary level (CBSE or similar board) and preparing students for board and competitive examinations.Proficiency in using digital tools, smart classrooms, and educational technology to enhance learning.Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a student-centered teaching approach.Commitment to ethical practices, continuous professional development, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
