PGT Psychology Teacher
The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to help students understand psychological concepts through practical examples and interactive learning methods. Key Responsibilities Teach Psychology to senior secondary students as per the CBSE curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and classroom activities. Explain psychological theories, concepts, and applications using real-life examples. Conduct assessments, evaluate answer sheets, and provide constructive feedback to students. Monitor students' academic progress and provide additional support wherever required. Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and active classroom participation. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic performance. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school activities. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Follow CBSE guidelines and school academic policies. Required Qualifications and Skills Master's degree in Psychology or a related field. 4–5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE school. Strong understanding of the senior secondary Psychology curriculum. Excellent communication, classroom management, and presentation skills. Ability to make complex psychological concepts easy to understand. Strong interpersonal skills and a student-centred teaching approach.
