The pharmacy is recognized as a trusted expert in medication and healthcare advice.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately, review prescriptions for completeness and potential interactions, and provide clear counseling to clients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage. The role includes monitoring for drug interactions and contraindications, resolving medication-related issues, and maintaining up-to-date patient profiles. The Pharmacist will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed, ensure compliance with local pharmacy regulations, and uphold accurate inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and expiry checks. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining proper documentation, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy, and contributing to high-quality customer service and patient education.Qualifications Licensed Pharmacist in Egypt with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, drug interactions, and dosage calculations.Ability to dispense medications accurately and review prescriptions for completeness, safety, and regulatory compliance.Excellent patient counseling skills, with the ability to explain medication use, side effects, and precautions in clear, accessible language.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing inventory, documentation, and record-keeping.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, colleagues, and healthcare providers in a respectful, inclusive manner.Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and adherence to all applicable pharmacy laws and professional standards.Ability to work full time on-site in Cairo, Egypt, including flexibility for shifts, weekends, and peak hours as needed.Proficiency with pharmacy software and basic computer applications; experience with electronic prescription systems is an advantage.Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn and participate in ongoing professional development is essential.
