Pharmacist

Job Summary:Provide prescribed medications, and other pharmaceuticals, compound medicationsaccording to professional standards and practices. Advise/consult with patients, families,medical and nursing staff.Duties and Responsibilities:1/ Review patient's drug regimen on a concurrent basis and verify the physician's original order for appropriateness prior to dispensing.2/ Communicate any suggested changes to the prescribing physician.3/ Prepare, check and dispense outpatient prescriptions issued by physicians.4/ Prepare, package, dispense and deliver unit dose medication in accordance with standard procedures and techniques for hospitalized patients.5/ Prepare drug formulations, strength, dosage forms, and packages that are useful in the care of patient and not available commercially but approved by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee.6/ Maintain Confidentiality at all times.7/ Perform any other duties that are within the scope of his/her skill necessary to the operation of the pharmacy department.Qualifications;Bachelor Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
