We offer an excellent work-life balance with a Monday to Friday working pattern and no routine evening or weekend shifts.Our services include:NHS prescription dispensing and nationwide deliveryNHS Advanced, National Enhanced and Local Enhanced Services delivered remotelyOnline consultationsTravel Health ClinicWeight Management ServicesPrivate prescription servicesHealthcare services delivered under Patient Group Directions (PGDs)Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS)As we continue to expand, we are looking for a pharmacist who shares our commitment to excellence, patient safety, and service innovation.The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in the safe and effective operation of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all professional, legal, and regulatory requirements.The pharmacy primarily operates as an online dispensing pharmacy; however, the role will also involve supporting face-to-face private services delivered from the pharmacy premises, including travel health and other PGD-based services.You will work closely with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care while supporting the continued growth and development of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the Responsible Pharmacist.Clinically screen and verify NHS and private prescriptions.Ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medicines.Provide professional advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals.Deliver NHS-commissioned services through remote consultations where appropriate.Deliver private healthcare services under PGDs, including travel health services and weight management consultations where applicable.Conduct face-to-face consultations for private services from the pharmacy premises.Support the checking and management of Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS).Ensure compliance with GPhC standards, NHS requirements, PGD requirements, and UK pharmacy legislation.Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.Support controlled drugs governance and safe storage procedures.Promote patient safety and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.Support the development and growth of pharmacy services.Essential RequirementsRegistered Pharmacist with current GPhC registration.Strong knowledge of UK pharmacy practice and legislation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desirable ExperienceExperience working within a community or online pharmacy environment.Experience delivering private clinical services under PGDs.Travel health experience.Experience in weight management services.Experience dispensing and managing Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS).Familiarity with RxWeb pharmacy management software.Experience using EPS and other digital pharmacy systems.Independent Prescriber qualification advantageous but not essential.What We OfferCompetitive salary package dependent on experience.Permanent full-time position.Monday to Friday working pattern (9:00am – 5:00pm).No routine evenings or weekends.Supportive and professional working environment.Opportunity to work within a growing and innovative healthcare business.Ongoing training and professional development.Career progression opportunities as the business expands.- Opportunity to contribute to the development of new pharmacy and healthcare servicesHow to ApplyPlease send your CV and a brief cover letter to:Email: mychemistonline.ff694@nhs.netWe look forward to hearing from pharmacists who are passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and helping shape the future of pharmacy services at MyChemistOnline.
