The role supports the safe and effective use of medications while promoting high-quality patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, verify, and dispense prescribed medications accurately and in accordance with approved policies and proceduresAssess prescriptions for appropriate dosage, drug interactions, contraindications, and medication safetyMaintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory management of medicationsComply with medication safety standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies while supporting quality improvement initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BPharm, PharmD, or equivalent)Valid SCFHS professional classification and registration0-3 years of experience as a Pharmacist in a healthcare or hospital settingHospital experience is preferred
