IBHANAN CLINIC values clinical excellence, ethical practice, and a patient-centered approach that supports both physical health and overall well-being.Role Description The Pharmacist will work on-site in the Pune Division in a full-time capacity, supporting safe and effective medication use for all clinic patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include dispensing prescriptions accurately, verifying dosages and interactions, and counseling patients and caregivers on proper medication use, side effects, and storage. The role involves maintaining medication inventories, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting prescribing clinicians with drug information and formulary guidance. The Pharmacist will collaborate with immunology, pediatric rheumatology, and neuroscience teams to optimize pharmacotherapy plans and contribute to protocols and patient education materials. The position also includes maintaining detailed records, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and upholding strict safety and confidentiality standards.Qualifications Licensed Pharmacist with a recognized degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, Pharm.D, or equivalent) and current registration with relevant regulatory authority.Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and medication safety practices, preferably with exposure to immunology, rheumatology, or neurology medications.Proficiency in prescription processing, dispensing workflows, and the use of pharmacy or clinic management software and electronic health records.Excellent communication and counseling skills to explain medication use clearly to patients, caregivers, and clinical teams.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and reliability in maintaining accurate records, inventories, and documentation.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and maintain professional, non-discriminatory conduct with patients and colleagues.Willingness to adhere to clinic protocols, regulatory requirements, infection control standards, and continuous learning in specialized therapeutic areas.Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or specialty center pharmacy is an advantage; familiarity with pediatric dosing is highly desirable.
