Pharmacists joining PMG will be part of a collaborative, patient-focused environment with opportunities to contribute to holistic, community-based care.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Melaka. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, review prescriptions for appropriateness, and provide clear counselling to patients on proper medication use, side effects, and safety. The role involves monitoring drug therapy, supporting medication management programs, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes. The Pharmacist will manage inventory, ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals, and maintain compliance with regulatory and professional standards. Additional responsibilities include documenting clinical interventions, supporting health promotion and screening initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement of pharmacy services within the PMG healthcare ecosystem.Qualifications Recognized degree in Pharmacy and valid registration/licensure with the relevant Malaysian pharmacy regulatory body.Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, including pharmacotherapy, drug interactions, and medication safety principles.Proficiency in prescription review, medication dispensing, and patient counselling, with attention to accuracy and detail.Experience with pharmacy operations such as inventory management, cold-chain and controlled drug handling, and documentation.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.Familiarity with healthcare regulations, standard operating procedures, and quality assurance practices in community or primary care settings.Comfort with basic digital tools and pharmacy or clinic management systems to support efficient service delivery.Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and delivering patient-centered care in a diverse community environment.Prior experience in community pharmacy or primary care is an advantage; new graduates with strong clinical training are also encouraged to apply.
