The Pharmacist will dispense prescription medications, verify prescriptions for accuracy, and provide clear counseling to customers on dosage, side effects, and safe usage. Daily tasks include managing inventory, checking expiry dates, maintaining proper storage conditions, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with physicians or clinics when needed, and supporting over-the-counter product recommendations. The Pharmacist is expected to uphold high standards of customer service, contribute to a clean and organized work environment, and collaborate with the team to improve pharmacy operations.Qualifications Formal pharmacy education (B.Pharm, D.Pharm, or equivalent) and valid pharmacist registration/license as required by local regulations.Strong knowledge of medications, dosages, drug interactions, and basic clinical pharmacology to ensure safe dispensing and patient counseling.Ability to maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and follow standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and healthcare providers in a clear and respectful manner.Attention to detail, reliability, and ethical conduct, with a commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.Basic computer skills for working with digital prescription systems, billing software, and inventory tools; comfort with hybrid work practices.Prior experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare setting is beneficial, along with familiarity with local language(s) and community needs.
