Job description:Bridgeport, West Virginia | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PMSalary: $128,960- $156,091.62/annually (DOE) + Health & BenefitsMVP Consulting Group is sourcing qualified Pharmacist candidates on behalf of our client, an independent retail pharmacy located in Bridgeport, West Virginia.The Pharmacy is seeking an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused licensed Pharmacist to join its community retail pharmacy team. This opportunity offers a desirable Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, competitive compensation, and health and employee benefits.Position SummaryThe Pharmacist will oversee the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, provide patient counseling, supervise pharmacy support personnel, and help ensure the pharmacy maintains high standards for medication safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, verify, and accurately dispense prescription medications.Evaluate prescriptions for appropriate dosing, interactions, contraindications, allergies, and medication-related concerns.Counsel patients and caregivers regarding medications and appropriate use.Communicate with prescribers regarding prescription clarifications and medication-related concerns.Maintain required prescription, controlled-substance, inventory, and pharmacy records.Provide appropriate oversight and supervision of pharmacy technicians and support personnel.Assist with medication ordering, inventory management, storage, security, and expiration monitoring.Administer immunizations and provide other pharmacist-delivered services when appropriately authorized and credentialed.Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.Ensure pharmacy operations comply with applicable federal and West Virginia pharmacy requirements.Provide professional and responsive service to patients, prescribers, and community partners.QualificationsPharmD from an accredited pharmacy program; or Existing pharmacists holding a historical BSPharm and have maintained valid professional standingCurrent and unrestricted West Virginia Pharmacist license or ability to obtain appropriate West Virginia licensure prior to employment.Immunization certification preferred.Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred.Strong medication-safety and clinical judgment skills.Excellent communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff.Compensation & BenefitsAnnual salary: $128,960- $156,091.62/annually (DOE) , based on qualifications and experience.Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.Health insurance and employee benefits.Stable, community-based retail pharmacy environment.Opportunity to work directly with patients and build long-term community relationships.ApplyQualified pharmacists interested in this opportunity are encouraged to apply for confidential consideration.Benefits:Health insurancePrescription drug insuranceApplication Question(s):Do you have PharmD from an accredited pharmacy program; or are an existing pharmacists holding a historical BSPharm and have maintained valid professional standing?Please provide best contact email to schedule interviews and for follow up communication?Please provide current and West Virginia Pharmacist license number.Experience:Community or Retail Pharmacy: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:Current and unrestricted West Virginia Pharmacist license (Required)Ability to Commute:Bridgeport, WV 26330 (Required)Work Location: In person
