Team members work in a customer-facing environment that values integrity, safety, and responsible dispensing of medications.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Jaipur. The Pharmacist will dispense prescribed medications, verify prescriptions for accuracy, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include counseling customers on proper medication use, dosage, and potential side effects, maintaining accurate patient and inventory records, and managing stock levels to prevent shortages or expiries. The role also involves overseeing storage conditions, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the pharmacy, and supporting customers with information on available generic alternatives. The Pharmacist will collaborate with other staff to provide efficient, courteous service and uphold high standards of ethical practice.Qualifications Valid pharmacy degree (D.Pharm or B.Pharm) from a recognized institution and registration with the relevant pharmacy council.Strong knowledge of pharmacology, generic and branded medications, dosage forms, and drug interactions.Ability to interpret and verify prescriptions accurately and ensure safe dispensing practices.Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain medications in clear, simple language.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing records, billing, and inventory control.Familiarity with basic computer applications and pharmacy billing or POS systems.Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and adherence to all regulatory and safety guidelines.Prior experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory.
