The Pharmacist will dispense prescription medications accurately, verify prescriptions for appropriateness and potential interactions, and counsel patients on proper use, dosage, and side effects of medications. Daily responsibilities include maintaining prescription records, managing inventory and stock rotation, checking expiry dates, and ensuring compliance with relevant pharmacy and healthcare regulations. The Pharmacist will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, provide medication information, and support public health initiatives such as vaccination or health awareness programs, while maintaining a clean, organized, and patient-friendly pharmacy environment.Qualifications Sound knowledge of pharmacology, prescription interpretation, and medication safety practices.Ability to counsel patients effectively, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail in dispensing, record keeping, and regulatory compliance.Experience with pharmacy management systems, inventory control, and basic computer skills.Recognized degree or diploma in Pharmacy and valid registration/licensure as a Pharmacist as per applicable regulations.Demonstrated ethical conduct, reliability, and commitment to patient-centered care.Ability to work on-site full time in Jashpur and collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Prior experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory.
