The Pharmacist will dispense prescription medications accurately, provide counseling on proper usage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for completeness and legality, maintaining accurate patient and inventory records, and monitoring storage conditions to preserve medication quality. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, responding to customer inquiries, managing stock levels, and supporting compliance with local regulatory requirements. The Pharmacist is expected to contribute to a customer-centric environment by promoting safe medication practices and supporting Meri Pharmacy’s mission to simplify healthcare.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong clinical pharmacy skills, including prescription verification, drug interaction assessment, and patient counseling.Candidates should possess knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, medication safety protocols, and quality control standards.Candidates should possess skills in inventory management, record-keeping, and basic use of pharmacy management software or digital systems.Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills, and the ability to explain medical information in accessible language.Candidates should possess attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.Relevant qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) or equivalent recognized pharmacy degree and valid licensure/registration as a pharmacist in Pakistan.Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in community or retail pharmacy, familiarity with tech-enabled healthcare services, and proficiency in local languages and English.
