Pharmacist

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based at صيدليات دوس - Doss Pharmacies in New-Cairo. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription medications accurately, review prescriptions for appropriateness, and provide clear counseling to clients on dosage, side effects, and safe medication use. Responsibilities include maintaining proper inventory levels, checking expiry dates, organizing stock, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations and internal policies. The role involves coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals when clarification or alternatives are needed, documenting interventions, and supporting insurance and reimbursement processes. The Pharmacist will also help maintain a clean, safe work environment, support junior staff, and contribute to excellent customer service and efficient pharmacy operations.QualificationsLicensed Pharmacist with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution; valid registration with the relevant Egyptian regulatory authority.Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and safe dispensing practices.Ability to provide clear, empathetic patient counseling and education, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription verification, labelling, documentation, and record-keeping.Comfort using pharmacy management software, point-of-sale systems, and basic computer applications.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and adherence to all legal and regulatory standards.Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.Previous experience in community or retail pharmacy in Cairo or similar settings is an advantage.Proficiency in Arabic; working knowledge of English is beneficial for reading references and documentation.
