What You'll Do
Ensure PV2 meets pharmacy run-time commitments and exceeds expectations. Conduct final prescription reviews before toting. Verify E-Kit contents and pull control medications as needed. Process and compound sterile/non-sterile products. Oversee new and refill IV orders and supplies. Track IV pump returns and process backorders. Perform final reviews for OOP meds, REMs submissions, and Clozapine orders. Check pre-packaged medications and oversee floor technicians. Assist pharmacy technicians and be on-call as scheduled. Ensure compliance with federal/state pharmacy laws and policies. Report medication errors and participate in quality improvement. Maintain inventory accuracy, IV room standards, and narcotic room cleanliness. Review and order IV supplies and C2 products; report shortages. Process and sign in controlled medications, including destruction and distribution. Flex into PV1 role as needed. Complete QA sheets and perform other assigned duties.
