Team members work within a highly controlled environment focused on precision, safety, and excellence in compounding services.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role located in Miami, FL. The Pharmacist will oversee sterile compounding processes, verify prescriptions, and ensure all medications are prepared in accordance with USP 797, DEA, and state regulations. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting medication orders, checking technician work, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities. The role also involves collaborating with prescribers and internal team members to resolve medication-related questions, support patient-specific formulations, and uphold high standards of safety and accuracy. The Pharmacist will contribute to training and mentoring pharmacy staff and support inventory management for sterile products and controlled substances.QualificationsValid Pharmacist license in Florida (or eligibility for licensure) and good standing with the state board of pharmacy.Experience or strong interest in sterile compounding and familiarity with USP 797 standards.Knowledge of DEA regulations and controlled substance handling in a compounding or hospital pharmacy setting.Attention to detail, strong clinical judgment, and commitment to medication safety and quality assurance.Ability to work on-site in a cleanroom environment, follow aseptic technique, and adhere to infection control protocols.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with technicians, pharmacists, providers, and other healthcare professionals.Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle high-volume workflow while maintaining accuracy.Comfort with pharmacy software systems, electronic documentation, and standard office technology.Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree; residency or prior sterile compounding experience is preferred.Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training related to sterile compounding and regulatory updates.
