Job SummaryThe Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and effective dispensing of medications while providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients. The role supports medication management, patient counselling, inventory control, and compliance with hospital policies and pharmaceutical regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, verify, and dispense medications according to physician prescriptions and approved clinical guidelinesAssess medication orders for appropriate dosage, potential drug interactions, contraindications, and patient safetyProvide medication counselling and guidance to patients and healthcare professionals on proper medication useMonitor medication storage, stock levels, expiry dates, and inventory management to ensure availability and safetyMaintain accurate pharmacy records, prescriptions, and medication documentationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BPharm, PharmD, or equivalent)Valid SCFHS professional classification and registration1–3 years of relevant experience as a PharmacistHospital or healthcare pharmacy experience is preferredGood communication, organizational, and patient care skills
