PHARMACIST-IN-CHARGE (PIC)Pay: $65–$70/HourOrganization: Non-Profit Community Health CenterExperience: 3+ Years of Professional Pharmacy ExperienceLicense: Active South Carolina Pharmacist License or Immediate Reciprocity EligibilityKey Focus: Pharmacy Operations | Clinical Leadership | 340B CompliancePosition OverviewOur client, an established non-profit community health center, is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead pharmacy operations, clinical consultations, and oversight of the 340B Drug Pricing Program.You’ll serve as the legal PIC of record with the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy while overseeing dispensing, staff, inventory, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary clinical support.What You’ll Do Lead daily pharmacy operations, prescription fulfillment, and technician workflows. Oversee the 340B Drug Pricing Program and maintain audit-ready compliance. Ensure compliance with HRSA, DEA, FDA, and South Carolina Board of Pharmacy requirements. Provide clinical guidance on dosing, drug interactions, formulary alternatives, and complex therapies. Counsel patients and collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff. Manage medication procurement, inventory, storage, and expired medication disposal. Coordinate wholesalers and patient assistance programs (PAP). Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate pharmacy technicians and support staff. Lead quality assurance initiatives and regulatory audit preparation.What You’ll Bring Active, unrestricted South Carolina Pharmacist license or eligibility for immediate reciprocity. BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited institution. 3+ years of professional pharmacy experience with progressive supervisory or operational responsibilities. Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations. Understanding of controlled substance tracking and audit-readiness standards. 340B program knowledge and regulatory experience. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively serve diverse and underserved patient populations.Compensation $65–$70/hour.WHY JOIN?
