The successful candidate will serve as the course coordinator and primary instructor for a core course in pharmacology to veterinary students. This is an in-person teaching role with coordination activities being hybrid. On campus presence is required during instruction. Appt Term – temporary December 2026-May 2027

Qualifications

• A doctoral degree in pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacology, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, or a closely related discipline. Appropriate terminal degrees may include a PhD, DVM, PharmD, MD, or equivalent degree;
• Experience teaching pharmacology or a closely related biomedical discipline at the university level;
• The ability to communicate complex pharmacological and pharmacotherapeutic concepts effectively to veterinary studentsExperience as a course coordinator, teaching in a veterinary professional program, developing curricula or assessments, or providing educational leadership is preferred.Applications should be submitted online at humanresources.umn.edu/jobs using Job ID: 376162
