We are looking for someone enthusiastic and energetic to join our team.Role Description The Pharmacy Counter Assistant – Health & Beauty Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Finchley Central N3 2DN. Day-to-day responsibilities include serving customers at the pharmacy counter, assisting with prescription collection and queries, and offering advice on health, beauty, and wellness products within the scope of training. The role involves managing stock on the shop floor, replenishing shelves, maintaining product displays, and supporting basic inventory tasks. The assistant will answer phone calls professionally, handle customer inquiries, and liaise with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient service. The position requires maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.Qualifications/ExperienceKnowledge of pharmacy operations and handling prescriptions, with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.Strong customer service skills with the ability to support individuals in a friendly, respectful, and inclusive manner.Good phone etiquette and clear communication skills for managing calls and customer queries.Basic inventory management abilities, including stock checks, replenishment, and organizing product displays.Interest or experience in health, beauty, and wellness products, with the ability to provide informed recommendations.Ability to work on-site full-time and perform light manual handling as required.Organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Previous experience in retail, pharmacy, or healthcare settings is beneficial but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided.Salary: Dependant on experience
