Team members collaborate across disciplines to deliver safe, timely, and compassionate services to a diverse client population.Role Description The Pharmacy Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chatham, ON, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the pharmacy within Aegis Health Group’s integrated clinical setting. This role includes supervising pharmacy staff, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing of prescriptions, and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and professional guidelines. The Pharmacy Manager will coordinate workflow, manage inventory and procurement, oversee immunization services, and implement best practices in pharmacy practice tailored to addiction medicine and complex patient needs. In collaboration with medical and counseling teams, the Pharmacy Manager will support medication therapy management, contribute to care planning, and help optimize patient outcomes through education, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement. This role also involves mentoring pharmacy technicians, fostering a respectful and inclusive work environment, and engaging in ongoing professional development.QualificationsStrong expertise in core pharmacy practice, including Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice, and safe Prescription management.Experience working with and supervising Pharmacy Technicians, with the ability to delegate, train, and support team performance.Competence in Immunization services, including vaccine handling, administration protocols, and documentation requirements.Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory body, with authorization to practice in Ontario.Demonstrated experience in pharmacy management or leadership, including workflow optimization, inventory control, and policy development.Knowledge of addiction medicine, mental health, or related clinical settings, or willingness to learn and adapt to this environment.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse clients.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and patient safety.Ability to work on-site full time in Chatham, ON, and adapt to a fast-paced, walk-in clinic environment.
