Pharmacy Manager

I’m currently partnered with a newly launching sterile compounding pharmacy in the Atlanta area that is looking to engage a Compounding Pharmacist Manager for its first site.The group plans to open several sites across the country over the next year, and this first team will set the standard for all of them. The Manager will run the pharmacy day to day, leading a small team of pharmacists and technicians and serving as the main link to the group’s clinical leadership.This is not a retail counter and it is not a factory. It is a specialist compounding pharmacy being built the right way from the start, and this is a chance to shape how it runs. The role is full time, on site, Monday to Friday.Job ResponsibilitiesRun the pharmacy day to day, including staffing, scheduling, and training for a team of pharmacists and techniciansLead sterile compounding operations in line with USP 797 and 800Own quality, compliance, and inspection readiness, keeping documentation accurate and audit readyVerify prescriptions and release finished preparations, staying hands-on in the cleanroom as neededSupport state board licensing and opening inspections for the new sitePartner with the group’s clinical leadership and help build the processes and culture that will carry over to future locationsJob RequirementsPharmD or BS Pharm with an active Georgia pharmacist license, or eligibility to obtain one with a clear timelineExperience running a compounding pharmacy or sterile suite as the accountable pharmacist, including leading pharmacists and techniciansAt least 2 to 3 years of hands-on sterile compounding experience, with working knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800Georgia State Board of Pharmacy LicenseA builder mindset, with a genuine interest in opening a site rather than inheriting one
